Jerry Spencer Ministries

As a teen-ager growing up in the First Baptist Church of Osceola, Arkansas, I truly enjoyed singing the old songs of the faith. One Sunday as we sang; "I'll go where you want me to go dear Lord, over mountain or plain or sea. I'll say what you want me to say dear Lord, I'll be what you want me to be!" As we sang I made a commitment... "Lord, I'll go, say, and be as you lead me." 

At age 17, I answered the call to preach. At age 26, I answered God's call to preach the gospel on the mission fields of the world, and that year (1966) I made my first mission trip... I spent 6 weeks in Brazil. On that trip I fell in love with overseas missions and I've spent my life doing missions on every continent except Australia. God has directed me to go to a number of countries over the last 1/2 century and I've seen several million people come to Christ, started at least 150 churches, built more than 50 church buildings, trained thousands of pastors and leaders, and printed many many Bibles and tens of thousands of pages of Christian literature.

When God hast spoken to my heart about a project even when I didn't have the money to do it, through dedicated generous Christian brothers and sisters like you, He has always provided funds equal to all task – both small and great. God has filtered several millions of dollars through my ministry into places, projects, and people in many parts of the world. I praise God and thank people like you who have supported JSM financially and prayed for my ministry.
